and Restoration Gallery D: Capitol
Building
On many a snowy day, I worked at the Capitol building. It was
while working on the World Bank Building restoration project
for EverGreene Painting Studios that I met artist Dean
Kalomas, a meeting which then led to my being hired as a full-time
decorative artist and restorer for the Architect of the
Capitol. I held that position for over ten years. Here
you can see some of the restoration work done on the ceilings
of the Speaker's office, the Presidential Signing Room,
and the offices of the Majority and Minority leaders of
the Senate.
